AForge.NET Framework 2.1.0 is now available

It is pleasure to announce that AForge.NET Framework 2.1.0 version was just released and now is available for everybody to try and test!

The new version of the framework is a features' version, which means it introduces a lot of new features. Some of these features were in the waiting queue for quite a while and now they become available making more benefits to the framework. These features are mostly related to blobs processing:

  • It is possible now to find blobs in color images, not only grayscale images;
  • Additional properties of blobs are available, like area and center of gravity;
  • Finding convex hull;
  • Finding quadrilateral area;
  • Transforming quadrilateral area to rectangular area;
  • etc.

In addition the version of the AForge.NET framework introduce new AForge.Robotics.Surveyour namespace, which provides classes to control such great Surveyor's robotics kits like SRV-1 Blackfin Robot and Stereo Vision System (SVS) board.
