3D Object Interaction

Hello everyone,
I read the wonderful guide on 3D Augmented Reality by Andrew Kirillov.
I have a question, is it possible to interact with a 3D object, for example if I touch a point of the image the
software understands that I did touch that place and for example change the 3D object.
The idea is to create a simple page with 1 glyph and a press area that when the finger goes on it changes the
3D object disaplyed on the glyph.
Any idea??
