Iplab 2.8.0 suddenly stopped working

Hello all. I use a windows 8.1 OS. I installed IPlab 2.8.0 some days ago and it worked well. It suddenly stopped opening today. I restarted my system, uninstalled it, uninstalled AForge.Net framework and re-installed it but to no avail. I even installed a previous version yet IPlab doesn't open. Please I need immediate help as this is the closest algorithm I need in solving my project. What could be the problem? Please help ASAP. Thanks

Hello,

Try to delete all *.config files in <your_home_folder>\AppData\Local\IPlab.
On WinXP this would be something like "C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Local\IPLab"

Hi Andrew, I've not been able to fix it, though using AForge algorithm, I was able to design my own image processing app with the features i needed. Please could you tell me how to get those config files in windows 8 as I've never used the feature before? thanks.

I've solved this, the App Data folder is hidden by default in windows 8. I had to unhide all folders and delete the .config files of IPlab as Andrew said. thanks.
