How do I know what framerate NewFrame events occur at?

Postby Scythe » Tue May 16, 2017 12:00 am

Ideally I'd like to match the framerate of my saved mp4 file to the framerate of my camera. So is there a way to get that framerate?

I need to know what value to give to VideoFileWriter.Open().

You can try measuring it by checking time stamps.

Anyway, there is another way to solve your issue. You don't have to have same frame rate for camera and video file. What you can do instead, is set frame rate of your video file to 30 and then use WriteVideoFrame() with a time stamp.
With best regards,
Andrew
