The project is no longer being developed. The first code for the framework was done more than 12 years ago. A lot happened since that time and I don't feel I can spare more of my free time to support it. Plus, the project requires quite some rework.

Accord.NET Framework was developed on top of AForge.NET. At some point in time they pulled AForge code into Accord, so everything is there. I think that project is still maintained.

I just checked and Accord seems to suffer from same problem...
Framerate really is a bitch :lol:
Somewhere in the webs I found a solution with a timeout to avoid oversampling, but that seemed too hacky (although it worked very well) to me.
