FFmpeg binaries with AForge.Video.FFMPEG classes

Postby Scythe » Fri May 12, 2017 1:28 pm

If I use the VideoFileWriter class, it says
Make sure you have FFmpeg binaries (DLLs) in the output folder of your application in order to use this class successfully

Do I need all 8 of them or are there specific ones I need? My output folder is getting pretty bloated with DLLs.

Also, does anyone know if there's a way to get Visual Studio to put them in my output folder automatically? I can't add them as references because they're not C#-accessible libraries.

Take them all to be safe. If something is missing, your app will not work anyway.

You may use post build steps.

Thanks!

Is this one of those forums that doesn't do email notifications?
