How to Correct the Distortion of a Shape

Postby Martin » Wed Jul 12, 2017 4:34 pm

I would like to know if it is possible to correct the angles of a rectangle image. For example, an image has a rectangle whose angles are not exactly 90 degrees, the rectangle is not perfect. I would like to know if it is possible to obtain the edgePoints, that i get with BlobCounter.GetBlobsEdgePoints, of the rectangle with angles of 90 degrees or if it is possible to apply some filter to obtain this rectangle with angles of 90 degrees. What i need is to correct the shape to make it a perfect rectangle. I am studing the documentation but i can not find what i need, i also am doing some test with Image Processing Lab tool.

Thanks in advance!

If you manage to find corners of your rectangle, which requires correction, then you may try applying quadrilateral transformation.
With best regards,
